Efforts were made to restart the SiTP parents forum and the group met several times over the school year. Attempts were made to engage with educational department and the architects and feed in our perspective on the proposed design of the school. The teachers

August 2009

The decision to proceed with new build was taken and the ground was broken in August 2009. Anticipated entry spring 2011.

23 April 2008

Hillhead Councillors met with parent and teachers representing all four schools. Concern about the apparent planning application delay remains high on the agenda.It was highlighted that we are unhappy with the lack of progress and that the status quo is wholly unsatisfactory. Awareness raising about the impact of the planning decision delay was made to the Councillors and they were asked to investigate this on the groups behalf

25th March 2008

Planning submission not yet reached committee, group voiced concerns about the impact of the apparent unusual delay. The group decided to invite Hillhead councillors to a meeting to voice our concerns.

February 2008

Planning submission not yet reached committee. Anticipating an early 2008 decision with a subsequent delayed entry date Spring 2010.
